Upon arrival at OR Thambo International Airport, you will be met and transported to the camp. The camp has the following facilities which are all included in your day fee:

Service of professional hunter,
Sighting-in facility,
All transportation during the hunt,
Trophy preparation,
Food and soft drinks,
Laundry service

Your day fee does not include the following:

Taxidermy fees,
Dipping and shipping,
Charted flights,
Hotel accommodation,
Trophy animals,
Alcoholic beverages

Arms and Ammunition 

It is usual for the hunter to choose his or her own rifle, we recommend a medium caliber: eg. Most common. 30 cal’s. For any of the BIG FIVE a .375 is the smallest caliber allowed. Rifles can also be obtained from the professional hunter, at a minimum fee per day. Any animal which has been wounded and/or lost, will be classified as taken and must be paid for in full.


Clothing and Personal Kit

May to August are the cooler months in south Africa. Warm clothes especially in the early mornings and late afternoons, are essential. In order to avoid blisters, ensure that your footwear is comfortable. Personal medication must be brought with you. A fully equipped medical kit is always at hand.
